Company History

DRA Pharmaceuticals is registered as a close corporation since 1997. The company register medicines for multinational companies from the time of registration. In 2002 a packaging facility was build with the intention to pack pharmaceuticals, veterinary products, cosmetics and special foodstuffs. The facility was approved in the last quarter of 2002 by the South African Pharmacy Council as a manufacturing Pharmacy.
The packaging facility and the site received its manufacturing license in February 2008 by the Medicines Control Council and can perform Secondary Contract Packaging of all other dosage forms. The facility can manufacture and pack all types of product for complimentary medicines. |

Security |

Route 21 Corporate Park where the factory is situated is a High security business park. All gateways are controlled and monitored by a 24-hour guardhouse facility; anti-personnel barriers and electronic surveillance protect the Park itself. |
